- A resident producer whose license has been expired more than 12 months must complete prelicensing education for the previously held line of authority, take the examination administered by Pearson VUE that covers state law, rules and regulations, submit fingerprints and apply online on Sircon or NIPR.
- A resident producer whose license has been expired for less than 12 months may reapply for a license for the same line(s) of authority without completing prelicensing education or passing a written examination administered, however, they must have satisfied all previous continuing education requirements to have his or her license re-issued and paid any applicable licensing/penalty fees. The producer may apply online on Sircon or NIPR.
- A nonresident producer whose license has been canceled for less than 12 months may reapply for a license anytime within 12 months of the cancelation of the license, however they are subject to both late renewal and penalty fees for a period of 12 months following the cancellation date of the license. The producer may apply online on Sircon or NIPR.
