 Sircon

The Division contracts with Sircon, a subsidiary of Vertafore, to offer online services including online license applications, license renewals, association maintenance, CE transcripts, approved PE and CE courses inquiries, license printing and more.

 NIPR

The Division works with the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) to offer online services including online license applications and license renewals for producers.

 Digital Fingerprints and Background Checks

Individual applicants are required to submit fingerprints from an approved fingerprint vendor for a criminal history background check. This will require applicants to submit two documents:

  • Fingerprint Background Waiver - this waiver authorizes the Division to access the applicant's criminal history from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, the State of Nevada and outlines the rights retained by the applicant.
  • Fingerprint confirmation receipt - this is the confirmation document given by the fingerprint vendor and includes a TCN number, which allows the Division to track the fingerprints during the background process.

Both these documents can be submitted through Sircon or NIPR after submitting the license application.

To expedite the application process, the Division encourages candidates to get their digital fingerprints within 90 days of submitting the application.

Pearson VUE - Examinations

Pearson VUE is the Division's vendor for licensing examinations.   Visit this page to obtain information to prepare for and to schedule an examination.  Examinations are administered at Pearson VUE testing centers.
