Division of Insurance to Host Free Forum to Educate Consumers on Long-Term Care Insurance

CARSON CITY, NV – The Division of Insurance is excited to announce the Long-Term Care Insurance Forum for Nevada consumers interested in learning more about long-term care products.  This event is free and open to the public. 

Long-term care insurance covers care in the case of a prolonged illness or disability, and may include a wide range of medical, personal and social services, such as  help with daily activities, home health care, adult daycare, nursing home care or care in a group living facility. 

This educational forum is a great opportunity for consumers to learn about the basics of long-term care insurance, including how to understand long-term care insurance policies and how premiums are establish.
