Description:

A cemetery agent is an individual who offers, sells, or solicits the purchase of cemetery merchandise and services through a prepaid contract. To qualify for a cemetery agent license, an individual must be employed by a cemetery authority that holds a valid cemetery seller's license. Once issued, a cemetery agent license remains valid only while employed by a licensed cemetery seller.

This license does not permit the offer or sale of goods and services provided by a funeral home through a prepaid contract. For information on selling funeral merchandise and services through prepaid contracts, see the Funeral Agent licensing page.
